Tips on travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina

Please note that on Sunday, everything is closed. Cafes not open until late afternoon, so make sure you have a plan for breakfast. In Mostar we bought some pastry from a bakery, very nice and fresh. Most of cafe lets you order a coffee and have your pastry there with your coffee.

The car costs £120 for 8 days, including 35 Euros one way fee for picking car up in Tuzla and leaving it in Mostar.  Unfortunately, we couldn't take our car to Croatia because Bosnia & Herzegovina not part of the EU so we had to take a bus from Mostar to Dubrovnik for £11 each.

Overall 10 days during school holiday in August, starting in Tuzla and finishing our holiday in Dubrovnik for 2 adults and 2 children, cost us £394 each including flights, hotels, car and activities.  £42.50 a day, not too  shabby.

But the experience and the fun we had was priceless
