Finally, we are very slowly coming to the end of pandemic and an announcement that we can travel in England and stay overnight in the hotel. The same evening I was looking for a bargain, and there it was- Mercure Stratford upon Avon Shakespeare Hotel. There was a no-brainer: 2 nights with breakfast and a free bottle of wine in the historic and traditional hotel located in the very heart of Stratford-upon-Avon for £144 for a double room.
You can't have a better location of the hotel, it was very easy to find and 5 min to any point of interest and riverside. On arriving at the hotel, we thought what a lovely quaint hotel full of character.
The private car park was £30 for 2 nights and was too expensive in my opinion, we park in the hotel next door for £12 for the whole stay. I used YourParkingSpace website to book a parking.
