You can eat very cheaply in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Local kebab places where you can get a burger, pizza or Bosnian kebab just for over £1.50. We never had a bad meal anywhere in our stay in Bosnia. I think you will be safe to go any place and just enjoy the local food. This is at some places we tried:

 Pizza Bar in Tuzla
A lovely place on the main square. We had a breakfast there and ones at lunch. Nice place to seat, lovely sandwiches and coffee. Great prices. They speak some English, so made it easy to order food or drink. Tasty breakfast in Pizza Bar Tuzla costs us £15 including water and coffee for four.

Čaršijska Carsijska  in Tuzla
A traditional  Bosnian food.  Bean soup for breakfast sound strange, but this is what the Bosnians eat, so I have to have it.  Sausage is served off the open fire grill even in the morning. No alcohol is served here, so try traditional coffee.

Caffe Slastičarna Iljazović  in Tuzla
If you are into cakes, you must go to  Caffe  Slastičarna  Iljazović. We bought way too many cakes,  but everyone tastes just as good as it looks. So just go there and stuff your face.

  • JAJCE
Veliko Plivsko jezero has a few motels and a couple lovely restaurants with an amazing view of the lake. Choose any of them, they have all mostly the same menu and prices. All good.

    Novalića Kula in Konjic
Beautiful views of the bridge from a restaurant, food is great and a large choice of vegetables. All salads in Bosnia made of cucumbers, tomatoes and cabbage. This was the only place we could get broccoli and cauliflower as a side with our  steak. If you go there, try mushroom soup, it's the best.

    Restoran Labirint in Mostar
Unfortunately Mostar became a very touristy with all negatives coming with it, and this place was one of those examples. Food in the restaurants is more expensive, but it's not as good as we had in Jajce or Konjic. Surrounding very beautiful, so we still had a great time.
